How to Renew Your IPTV Subscription Without Losing Access
Renewing an IPTV subscription is usually quick, but timing matters. A little planning means your channels keep working without interruption and you can take the chance to switch to a plan that fits better.
Many services, including DigitalTVNow, do not renew automatically. That protects you from surprise charges, but it also means renewal is in your hands. The steps below help you renew smoothly and avoid the common mistakes that lead to a blank screen on the night of a big match or series finale.
Know your expiry date
Your plan runs from the day it was activated for the period you bought. Many player apps show the expiry date in their account or settings screen, often labelled "expiry", "valid until" or "account info". Add a reminder to your phone a week before that date so you are never caught out.
When to renew
Renewing a few days before expiry is ideal. It gives time for payment to be confirmed and for any questions to be answered. Renewing early does not usually waste time from your current plan, because the new period is added to your existing expiry date, but confirm this with your provider when you renew.
How renewal works at DigitalTVNow
- Message us on WhatsApp from the number you ordered with and say you would like to renew.
- Choose your plan. Keep the same one or change the length or number of devices.
- Pay using your preferred method. We send the payment details for PayPal, card, Western Union or Remitly.
- Keep watching. Your existing login is extended, so there is nothing to set up again.
A good moment to review your plan
Renewal is the natural point to ask whether your plan still fits. If you often find two people wanting to watch at once, adding a device could stop arguments. If you have been on monthly plans for a while and are happy with the service, a longer plan will lower the monthly equivalent significantly. Our guide to IPTV subscription prices shows how much you can save.
If your login stops working after renewal
- Refresh the playlist. Many apps cache account data; a refresh or reload picks up the new expiry date.
- Restart the app and device. This clears temporary data held in memory.
- Check the details. If your provider issued new credentials, make sure the app has the new ones.
- Contact support. Send a screenshot of the error and the app name so they can help quickly.

Avoiding renewal scams
Only renew through contact details you already know. If you receive an unexpected message from a new number asking you to pay urgently, do not respond; contact your provider through the number on their website instead.
Renewal FAQ
Will my subscription renew automatically?
Not with DigitalTVNow. You choose when and whether to renew.
Do I lose my favourites when I renew?
Normally no. Favourites are stored in your player app, and your login stays the same.
Can I switch from one device to two when renewing?
Yes. Mention it when you renew and your plan will be updated.
Note your expiry date, renew a few days early through your usual contact, and use renewal as a chance to pick the plan that suits your household best.
